Barbara Britt has a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. She developed the largest leadership program in the country for high school students and devoted 16 years to working directly with the program’s participants. She is now using her expertise in the corporate world.
As a member of John C. Maxwell’s international speaking, training and coaching team, she conducts leadership, personal and professional development training for a variety of organizations. Through attaining the level of Executive Director, she is qualified to offer the very same training that she received. Barbara is also a certified trainer with Robert Rohm Personality Insights, using DISC profiling training to enhance retention, Leadership, employee engagement, sales productivity, and knowing your customer. She customizes every training to meet the needs and expectations of her clients. She has recently developed a Speakers Club that can be utilized in companies from top management to the entire team. Barbara’s no-nonsense style helps take companies to a new level of growth.
In addition to working with individual and corporate clients, Barbara facilitates training through the Northwest Florida State College Costa Leadership Institute. She has developed Empowerment programs to enable women and men to achieve their best selves using Mastermind groups, as well as lunch and learn workshops. She has international training and speaking experience with Transitional lifestyles of the military child working with Military Child Education Coalition as a trainer. Barbara has been chosen to speak and train at the National Military Child Education Coalition in Washington for the last three years. She also did Transformational training for Paraguay and Costa Rica with the John Maxwell Company.
Barbara is a dedicated member of her community in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Active in the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, she served as the Assistant Program Director for the Chamber’s Youth Entrepreneur Academy. She also served as a civilian Honorary Commander of the 505th at Hurlburt Field, and in 2019 Honorary Commander for the 1st Battalion 7th Special Forces for Eglin Air Force Base. I was also priveledge to work closely with the local Building Homes for Heroes organization. She served on the Board for the Science Center, Chair for Women Connect for the Chamber, and Programs Director for American Business Women. Currently, she is on the Board for Fresh Start, was past chairperson for the Education Committee for Fresh Start, and is on the State Board for Distinguished Young Women. On the board for Fort Walton Beach Chamber, and is Chair for MAC (Military Affairs Committee), and on the Board for Impact 100.
As an executive coach to management teams and entrepreneurs, Barbara helps them redefine their purpose and vision. She speaks and trains on a variety of different topics, which are customized to her client’s needs. Some of the topics may include Personality Working Styles, Excellence in Customer Service, and Retention & Motivation of your entire Staff, Sales Force, Office Managers, HR, and the CEO.
