Grover C. Brown Jr. currently serves as the Director of Lending with Community Enterprise Investments Incorporated (CEII) in Pensacola, Florida. CEII is a Multistate Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), providing Small and Micro Business Capital Mortgage Lending and Affordable Housing Development.
With over 20 years of experience in finance and commercial lending, Grover brings a wealth of experience to CEII as an entrepreneur and expertise in non-profit administration, and community-economic development. A native of Pensacola, Florida, Grover is actively involved in promoting community and economic development throughout Florida and Alabama. In addition, to several organizations that he is affiliated with, he currently serves on the board of directors for: The Alabama Microenterprise Association (AMEN); the Alabama Association for Community Development Corporations (AACDC); Building Alabama Reinvestment (BAR); the Mobile Chamaber of Commerce, Small Business Council; and Area Agency on Aging (Pensacola, FL).
Gover is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (B.A. Political Science) and Troy State University (Master of Public Administration) and attended Jones School of Law (Montgomery, AL)
