Mission Statement

Santa Rosa County’s Office of Procurement consistently demonstrates organizational excellence and provides strategic value for its citizens and internal agencies. We accomplish this by creating, implementing and continually practicing efficient, ethical processes and procedures that strategically, and tactically, facilitate the County’s procurement of services, supplies and construction supporting essential public functions. The procurement office endeavors to ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly and in a manner that is always transparent, efficient, accountable and fair.

Our Role

Consistent with the strategic priorities of the Board of County Commissioners, the procurement department, led by the procurement officer and supported by the senior administrative assistant, performs the planning, organization, development and coordination of the procurement activities for the organization. The department is responsible for the procurement functions of the Board of County Commissioners under the direction of the office of management and budget. It provides professional support services and sound guidance to all stakeholders involving procurement of professional services, consultants, equipment, supplies, construction, capital improvements and equipment and other applicable activities.
